This is the time that many old timers took their vacations to catch large smallmouth bass. These fellows concentrated on the deep pools. Stop in and I'll show you where to find there areas on both the North & South Forks of the Shenandoah River. Pull out your SA Mastery Sink Tip III lines and 5 foot leaders and fish the Murray's Madtom #6, #8, Black Strymph #4, #6, and Shenk's White Streamers #4, #6 slowly along the bottom of the deep pools.
