Delayed Harvest and Large Stocked Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report- April 3, 2018

There is excellent fishing on Big Stoney Creek West of Edinburg and on Passage Creek East of Edinburg. At dusk look for trout feeding on natural caddis flies on the surface below the riffles. The Mr. Rapidan Tan Delta Wing Caddis size 14 will catch many of these trout. If you do not see rising trout, fish the Murray's Caddis Larva size 14 or Murray's Tan Magic Caddis Pupa size 14 across stream below the riffles with a slow twitching action.
