Delayed Harvest and Stocked Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report- October 24, 2017

There are some good Baetis mayfly hatches on these streams now. Back Creek and Passage Creek are especially good. I like to fish one on one to these rising trout with a Mr. Rapidan Dry size 16 and size 18. If I do not see any rising trout, I use these same flies to cover the water. I can almost always find some feeding trout in the Bridge Pool on Back Creek.
