Mountain Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report - December 12, 2019

These streams are getting cool and there are some areas that have snow around the streams. Be careful walking/hiking as these can cause some slippery conditions.

A jigging fly action with a two nymph rig such as a Murray's Adams Nymphs size 12 and a Murray's Professor Nymph size 12 on a Murray's Trout Nymphing 9ft 5X Leader often brings solid strikes in the cold streams. The swimming action may give the trout the impression the nymphs are attempting to swim away.
