These streams are carrying higher water levels than normal. In the Shenandoah National Park, you will get your best fishing by coming into the heads of the streams from the Skyline Drive. Some good flies are the Spirit of Pittsford Mills size 14 & size 16, Murray's Sulphur Dry size 16 & size 18, Shenk's Sulphur Dry size 16 & size 18, Mr. Rapidan Tan Delta Wing Caddis size 14, Murray's Flying Beetle size 14 & size 16, Murray's Little Yellow Stonefly Dry size 16 & size 18.
