Many of these streams are too high for good fishing; however, Big Stoney Creek, which is West of Edinburg, is fishable. Some good flies are Murray's Nine Three Streamer size 10, Murray's Crayfish size 10, Casual Dress size 12, Mr. Rapidan Olive Soft Hackle size 12, Murray's Adams Nymph size 12, and Mr. Rapidan Bead Head Nymph size 14.
