Stocked Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report- September 5, 2017

In order to find cool water and feeding trout on these streams, I go to the shaded sections of the streams very early in the morning. The water temperature may be several degrees cooler at this time thus prompting the trout to feed. This is productive on both Back Creek and the Hidden Valley of the Jackson. Good flies include Murray's Yellow Jacket Dry size 16, Murray's Housefly size 16 and Murray's Oakworm Dry size 16.
