Squeeze several drops of Gherke's Gink on your finger and gently work it into your dry fly to help it float properly. Be careful that you do not matte the hackles on your dry flies.
*For CDC flies and dry flies such has no hackles and small midge patterns we find Murray's Liquid Dry Fly Floatant, High N Dry Liquid Spray Floatant or High N Dry Powdered Floatant perform better since they don't matte the fibers together as much.
