These big fuzzy nymphs are very effective for large smallmouth bass. A friend caught one of the largest bass on the North Fork of the Shenandoah River just north of Edinburg that has been caught in Virginia using a Skunk Road Kill Nymph. Fishing these across stream by stripping them two inches every five seconds to swim them right along the stream bottom. The Olive Road Kill is a good match for the natural dragonfly nymphs.
