The Spirit of Pittsford Mills is one of the few trout dry flies which I believe effectively matches mayflies, caddisflies and stoneflies. Thus it is effective throughout the season. I fish the size 14 in the early part of the season, go down to a size 16 for May and June, then use the size 18 from July until fall.
